I used to use the milk frother that comes with the Nespresso machine, but it would always make the milk spill and make a mess. The only downside of this milk frother is that it doesn’t have a measurement guide inside the steamer so sometimes I end up with very different cup sizes or have to throw some of the froth away. I used high froth and all whisk pieces for this one. 120F: I would say that this one is the closest it comes to the espresso machine but is more frothy than the machine would make it. I used medium froth and 2 whisk pieces for this one. 140F: This temperature creates low level froth which is perfect for coffee for example. I used the highest froth and all whisk pieces options for this as well. On a side note, it definitely took a while (5-10 minutes) for the frother to finish making this drink. It ended up creating a lot of foam and it felt super fluffy and creamy. 160F: I used this temperature to make chai latte and I mixed the powder directly into the milk. I tried all the temperatures for you guys so, in case you’re wondering, this is what you get with different temperatures: From matcha latte to extra creamy hot chocoloate, there’s not a thing this device can’t make. The options are literally ENDLESS and I made all kinds of drinks with this thing. : I love that this device let’s you play around with the foam density and temperature. It’s not completely silent, but still it’s not an unpleasant noise that would wake up the whole neighbourhood. : Compared to my previous espresso machine with the frothing wand, this frother is a whole lot quieter. Everything is made out of non-stick metal so that makes it very easy to clean the milk residue. : This is probably the most convenient design I’ve ever encountered! The inner ring which makes the foam is actually magnetic (it’s not attached to the cup) so I can easily take it out to clean the cup. What I like about this milk frother? - □ EASY TO CLEAN It’s available in yellow, green, black and white color. This device has a rating of 4.4 out of 5 stars on Amazon based on 269 reviews. Maestri House is the first of-it-kind milk frother that has smart LED monitor which allows you to set the temperature (120-160☏) and choose froth thickness (low, medium or high) to prepare milk drinks like latte, cappuccino, mocha, hot chocolate and so on. But a nasty random accident changes the whole picture, and the Poles are compelled to give statements to the police that aren’t quite backed up by the CCTV footage that saw everything.I loveee my coffee with a lot of foam of top but my old espresso machine with an attached frothing wand was insanely loud and super annoying to use + clean, so I got the ~(2149497421477891) in hopes that it would be a better replacement. The visitors resume their routines of running together and shagging athletically, but the arrival of an Arab builder (Ibrahim Keshk) unbalances the equilibrium: partly because he starts using a noisy piece of equipment to fix the pool, and partly because his strikingly chiselled torso is seldom clothed, attracting Anna’s eye and piquing Adam’s jealousy. They complain to the unctuous manager (Marcello Romolo) who makes excuses and negotiates with the couple to have it fixed as quickly as possible in order to avoid issuing any kind of refund. Through an account of a holiday on an Italian island that goes wrong for extremely blond Polish couple Anna and Adam (Agnieszka Zulewska and Dobromir Dymecki), the script explores the chasms of cultural disconnection that lie beneath the tourism-industry fantasy of free-moving people of EU nations gaily traversing the continent in search of jollies.Īnna and Adam arrive at the spacious, secluded villa they’ve hired and are miffed to find the pool they were looking forward to using is empty. P olish director Aga Woszczynska’s methodical and incisive debut feature offers a painterly study of guilt, desire and class, rendered in sky blues, terracotta tiles and white-people nude fabrics.

There are active plans to construct a third floor with a partial fourth floor with proper faculty apartments and a rooftop greenhouse with further expansions for the basement and possible sub-basements. It has considerable facilities and currently houses 27 persons including 5 faculty, 5 staff, 15 students, and 2 children. It is currently a two-story building with a finished basement. The Graymalkin House now stands as a large Neoclassic mansion constructed on the land near Breakstone Lake just outside of Salem Center, New York. By the summer of 1995, the school had fifteen mutant students enrolled and eight mutants on its payroll. Some caretakers had to be replaced as more mutants (some with drastically atypical appearances) joined the school's students and faculty. Most of the estate's caretakers were kept on in some capacity after displaying favorable reactions to Charles revealing himself as a telepath to them. The pro-mutant school opened its doors in the fall of 1993, after five years of modifying the house and grounds, in addition to undertaking extended travels to monitor potential recruits and preparing the curriculum. However, as initial inquiries were begun it was determined that a school environment would be more appropriate. Charles and Moira intended to transform the ancestral home into the center of a community dedicated to fostering a safe environment for mutants: the next stage in the evolution of man. Charles returned to take up permanent residence in 1988 with his new bride-to-be, a rather pregnant young woman named Moira MacTaggert. The son born of that marriage was Charles Xavier, to whom the estate would be given after Cain Marko disappeared in Vietnam and Sharon succumbed to a drug overdose.Ĭharles left the estate to the care of the estate workers for several years while he studied at Empire State University in New York City and traveled abroad during the summer. However, Sharon and Kurt were young lovers and Sharon soon left Kurt for a much more successful doctor named Brian Xavier. The first marriage was to Kurt Marko and they named their son Cain. Sharon would marry two men and raise two sons in the home. David's great-great-great-granddaughter Sharon would inherit the ancestral home upon the passing of her father Charles Graymalkin IV. Jonas disappeared as a young man and was never seen again, leaving the way for David to inherit the family estate. Instead of having the papers modified, Charles chose to embrace this as fate suggesting he start fresh with a new name in a new land.Ĭharles would go on to have a wife named Marcia and two sons Jonas and David. Due to a clerical error with the paperwork, Charles found the deed to the land prepared under the name Charles Graymalkin. In the early 1800s, the land was originally purchased by Malkin Grey and given to his son Charles as an investment if Charles agreed to oversee the family business in America. Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters is a special institute founded and led by Professor Charles Xavier to train young mutants in controlling their powers and help foster friendly human-mutant relations emphasizing peaceful coexistence. Kuhl’s last few years of life were tough ones, his memory ravaged by Alzheimer’s Disease and his body by kidney issues, and a recent fall left him in severe pain that finally ended with his passing. The duo was honored by NHRA in 2007 with a Lifetime Achievement Award and enshrined –- together - in the International Drag Racing Hall of Fame in 2012. Kuhl kept busy, expanding his engine-building business to also include superchargers before getting into the nostalgia racing business in a big way in 2001, doing restorations and recreations of famous drag cars and becoming heavily involved in the Cacklefest exhibitions. While Olson remained active with the car and Kuhl with a slew of hired drivers, Olson went on to have a long career at the NHRA and SEMA. 1 qualifier spot, and a spot in the exclusive Cragar Five-Second Club -– before Olson pulled the ‘chute on his driving career at season's end. Together they formed not only one of the great Top Fuel teams of the early 1970s but one of the great friendships that endured long long after the racing ended, and right up until June 23, the day we lost Kuhl at age 82. In retrospect, the kit should have included one of partner and tuner Mike Kuhl, too. The model measured more than 16 inches long and came with a bonus figure of driver Carl Olson. Most of the ones I built were the traditional 1/25th scale, but I splurged once on one of the 1/16th-scale models, emptying my meager paper-route piggybank for the giant Kuhl & Olson “Da Revell Fast Guys” Top Fueler. I was, of course, already a drag racing fan and there were plenty of drag models to build, especially from our friends at Revell. When I was a teenager, like a lot of boys that age, I was assembling plastic kit models - getting airplane glue everywhere and learning just how sharp an Xacto knife was (four stitches!). The student can wash away the paint, controlling the amount left on the surface of the colored areas. Here the black paint settles in the unpainted areas. This is a way of increasing an awareness of "negative space" or background areas.īlack tempera or India ink over crayon or colored chalk. The child may draw in ink first, then add color or reverse the procedure. Many artists like to paint washes in their pen and ink drawings to add dimension, shading, and other elements of interest. The danger of mixing media lies in a tendency toward gimmickry, but often the use of combined materials can solve special design problems. Lines in dark ink or tempera work well over collages of colored tissues, and rich effects can be obtained by covering thick tempera paintings with India ink and washing the ink away under a faucet. The next day, the cement can be peeled off, revealing broken white areas against the color ground. Another resist technique is to "paint" the design with rubber cement and then float tempera or watercolor over the surface. For example, white wax crayon may be used in the resist painting, with paint providing color. A careful handling of black, white, and textured areas has highly dramatic effects. Both techniques may be expanded in several ways. Al 0 The topic ‘Indian ink wash as an underdrawingunderpainting’ is closed to new replies. Frank is now in his 80s and has used this technique for decades with no problems. It dries very quickly and you can paint right over it with no smearing and no bleed-through. Later, the drawing may be made with a variety of tools, including pen points, bobby pins, scissors, and so on. You obviously can’t use ink washes but you can easily mix various shades of gray. A coating of tempera paint or India ink sufficiently thick to cover the wax should then be applied and left to dry. This expands the drawing repertoire and presents one more area for. The tone can be applied prior to or after drawing lines in ink, pencil, charcoal or other drawing medium. The surface is prepared by covering the Bristol board, or other glazed cardboard, with a heavy coat of wax crayons in light colors. Drawing includes wet media, such as pen and ink and wash which often will refer to watering down ink and using a brush to apply a tone to the paper. Best known for his jazz album pen and ink illustrations, David Stone Martin was born in the US in 1913 and died in 1992. If it is to be made, Bristol board is probably the most desirable to use. Martin is best known for his jazz-related artwork. This is something you can easily see in Image 1 where we tested India Ink, Sharpie® Permanent Marker, and Sakura’s IDenti Pen by brushing over them with our GOLDEN Gesso, GAC 100, and a wash of QoR Watercolor. Scratchboard may be either purchased or made by the pupils. In using a scratchboard, the pupil scratches away an overall dark coating to expose selected parts of an under-surface. Scratchboard techniques may also be handled effectively by older pupils. One common method is to use watercolor pans to mix small amounts of wash. Brushes or Dip Pens When it comes to painting with Indian ink the dip pen will offer the artist finer details and a lot of the techniques that are used with. The ink may be applied with either a pen or a brush, or with both tools. To provide accents in the work, thicker paint or India ink may be used. In producing a picture, the pupil first makes a drawing with wax crayon and then lays down a wash of color or colors. The last are particularly pleasant to use with this technique. Ordinary wax crayons are suitable and may be used with watercolor, tinned tempera paint, or colored inks. A reasonably heavy paper or cardboard having a mat, or nonshiny, surface is required. The technique of using resists relies on the fact that waxy media will shed liquid color if the color has been sufficiently thinned with water. The use of resist techniques, for example, is practical for preadolescents and tends to maintain their interest in their work. We really pushed as hard as we could on our engine to capture that feeling in FlatOut 4. One of the things that is evident when you go back to the old games is that stuff is just literally everywhere flying around like crazy. The rest of the tracks were much more straight forward once we nailed things down with Val Verde. Decisions about visibility, tracks width, debris, humor, short cuts, etc. The desert tracks were the first place we started and it took a ton of iteration to get Val Verde feeling like a FlatOut track. XBA: What has been learned from the previous games in the FlatOut series that you’re improving in 4, and why do you believe fans weren’t as fond of 3?Ī: When we set out to make FlatOut 4, it was important to us to go back and really take a long hard look at how their tracks were made, the design decisions they made. And I particularly loved the multiplayer with your friends! And the Stunts mode! All these things are so important to FlatOut and are things we’ve tried very hard to get right in our new game. Of course there was the satisfying deformation of your car/destructions. It was easy to drive/play but hard to master, something so many great games have in common. Why do you think FlatOut 2 was one of the more favorite ones from the series, even after all these years and sequels?Ī: FlatOut 2 was tremendously fun, I agree completely. XBA: So I’ve played nearly every entry into the series to date, and like most, FlatOut 2 Ultimate Carnage was the one I enjoyed best and spent the most amount of time with. We have some favorites recreated like stone skipping, baseball and rings of fire as well as knew additions like billiards, golf and cup pong! We also have the return of the amazing Stunt mode from the earlier games. There’s something tremendously satisfying about tricking out a jet engine powered ice cream van and tearing through a water canal at breakneck speed tossing a mine ahead at your unwitting opponent. A game that never takes itself too seriously and fills a gaping void in a market full of racing sims. XBA: What makes 4 deserve the Total Insanity title and the most insane thing you can do?Ī: Total Insanity is what the FlatOut franchise is all about, at its core. The game begins its global roll out at the end of March. Xbox Addict: So, start off by letting us know why fans should be excited for FlatOut 4: Total Insanity, when does it release, and what are the pre-order bonuses?Īlexandre: FlatOut 4 was made by and for fans of the series – it’s a love letter to the original FlatOut games, taking the roots of the first ones and adding new and exciting modes.
